Campus Public Safety and Security
Security Officers patrol the campus and University area to detect and deter crime and to provide a safe environment for the Gonzaga community. They also answer calls for service and can provide escorts upon request to any area on campus, as well as a portion of the Logan neighborhood adjacent to GU. The University Switchboard operators are part of the Campus Public Safety and Security department and serve as dispatchers for Security officers. Switchboard operators answer the University's main number (509-328-4220) 24 hours a day, year round. An operator can also be contacted by dialing ext. 0 from an on-campus phone. In the event of an emergency, dial 911.
