Patrick Charles, J.D., M.L.S.

Background


Patrick Charles received his Bachelor of Arts in History from Loyola University of New Orleans, a Juris Doctor from the University of Idaho College of Law, and a Master of Library Science with a certification in Law Librarianship from the University of Washington.

Prior to joining Gonzaga University, Patrick was a judicial clerk for the Honorable Dorothy M. Baker in Multnomah County Circuit Court in Portland, Oregon. He has been a Circulation and Reference Librarian at Widener University School of Law in Wilmington, Delaware, a Legal Reference Librarian and Legal Research Instructor at Creighton University School of Law, as well as a Legal Research & Writing Adjunct Professor at the College of Saint Mary.

Patrick has been the Library Director of Chastek Library since 2013, an Associate Professor of Law at Gonzaga University School of Law since 2017, and is the Director of the Executive J.D. program.
