Access for Individuals with Disabilities
Chastek Library is accessible to individuals with disabilities and will make all reasonable efforts to meet the needs of those with disabilities who wish to use the library.
The library is equipped with an Optelec 20/20 Plus machine (which enlarges text) to accommodate the visually impaired. The machine is located on the second floor of the library, east wall, to the right of the student lounge. Those using the library who have mobility impairments may request assistance with photocopying or with retrieving items from the collection. Please contact the Circulation Desk at (509) 313-5792 for assistance.
The library also houses the only push-button entry bathrooms in the law school. You can locate them on the first floor in the Greenan Reading Room.
For more information on disability resources, contact the Disability Resources, Education, and Access Management (DREAM) Department at (509) 313-4134.
