Locating Federal Agency Decisions

Administrative law judges conduct hearings and issue decisions for federal agencies. Many of these decisions are published on the agency's website. Contents and coverage will vary, but check an agency website first.

Using a Citator to Locate Administrative Decisions

Use Shepards (Lexis Advance), KeyCite (Westlaw), or BCite (Bloomberg Law) as a research tool to discover if there are any decisions or secondary sources discussing a CFR section.

You can check to see if an administrative decision is still considered good law. Note that these databases contain only selected administrative decisions.
